The September Edit: What to Read, Watch and Buy Now

Welcome to The Cut my monthly curated list of my favourites that I think you'll love. From what to read, watch, buy, see, eat and more.
It's the end of the summer holidays, you have nearly made it, unless school has decided to rudely add on a few inset days. As we head into September, the Autumn months, and my favourite coat and glove season, here's some of my most loved to take some time out with.

Saturday night film date night has been packed with some really great films, and one miss this month. First up is The Ballad of Wallis Island, a funny, beautiful film about unexpected friendship, loneliness and being a fan with Tim Key and Carey Mulligan, plus the soundtrack is beautiful. Speaking of friends, Tim Robinson's Friendship with Paul Rudd is hilarious, cringe-inducing and confronting about how full I fill my coffee cup. As for my miss, Celine Song I loved your first Past Times but Materialists just didn't cut it and my belief Dakota Johnson should stay on a press tour continues. |

Oh hello television obsession and late to the party recommendation from me. But...Shrinking is great.
Starring my all time heartthrob Harrison Ford and my new female crush Jessica Williams, this is the perfect half-hour comedy for when you are relaxing on the sofa after work.
Grieving therapist Jimmy (Jason Segal) and his co-workers Ford and Williams, plus his neighbours and best mates are the perfect ensemble. It's funny, sad, you will cry, you will love them all.
We all know that social media can be an absolute bin fire so it's very important to curate the feed you want.
Obviously you will be following me @clairehilldesigns and I've got plans for some good styling videos and hacks coming up. But if you are looking for some new inspiration.
@nephthysillustrated for great prints and this DIY paper vase tutorial.
@joexfitness for the most insane looking Korean food recipes. I reckon even I can manage them and want to try the cucumber salad and rice paper gyoza.

Forget Sabrina Carpenter and her new album, the one I am waiting for is The Last Dinner Party if the new song This is the Killer Speaking is anything to go by. While I am waiting for From The Pyre I am soaking in their album Prelude to Ecstasy while I rebuild this website (stay tuned).

It's layering season. So making the cut this month at Claire Hill Designs are all the hoops. Starting with these brushed gold vermeil hoops in small and large. They are all you need to make a statement. Got your sneak peek covered here
