Claire's Holiday Make-Up Must-Haves
I love a glowy, effortless and, most importantly, quick make-up routine so have a core routine that doesn't really change regardless of the weather.
But if you are looking for ultimate, heat-proof make-up that will take you from wandering shady markets to late night dinner and cocktails then make room for these hero beauty products in your carry on. More room for jewellery as well.

For a Dream Flight...

My noise sensitivity has hit major levels since perimenopause so I've been experimenting with Loop earplugs on a daily basis. Combined with noise cancelling headphones and a soothing podcast they were the perfect way to shut out plane noise and get some rest.
Another one from home, I invested in a silk eye mask from Drowsy at Christmas in the attempt to have less puffy, creased eyes in the morning, better sleep and a mask that stays on. It works great horizontal or upright on a plane.

I've been stalked by these Trtl Pillow Rests across the internet so finally cracked and bought it for the long-haul flight to Thailand. It looks like a surgical neck brace and they don't pack down brilliantly. But. I slept, didn't rest my head on the surly male Boomer manspreading next to me and had no sore neck post flight. I guess that is the most we can hope for with a plane sleep.
