How long will it take to get my items? 

We aim to send all jewellery orders out within 2-3 working days and we deliver using first class Royal Mail. If you would like to upgrade for alternative shipping please get in touch at

Every bridal headpiece is handmade to order and will take between 2-3 weeks on average. In busy periods we will inform you if there is any change to this timescale. If you need your order quicker please contact us directly and we can see what we can do.


All our products come gift wrapped in their own boxes, foiled with our logo and wrapped in tissue paper. If you are sending presents direct or want to take the hassle out of gift giving you can upgrade to gift wrapping using a selection of stunning Sadler Jones wrapping paper and add a Sadler Jones card with a message for your loved ones. Our bridal accessories, hats and headbands are customisable to give you that personal touch. Email us direct to discuss changes to colour, look and whether you would like your headpieces on a band, headband or clips. Please note the returns policy on bespoke items.


We source high-quality materials in our products. Our vines are made with anti-tarnish silver and gold plated wire. The flowers are hand-cut, shaped and stitched using a range of silk fabric. 
Our jewellery is made with gold plated brass or rhodium plated brass and chains are either 14k gold/rose gold filled or sterling silver as described. 

While all pieces are durable and made to a high standard, we advise that you handle them carefully.  It is recommended that you pick your headpiece up by the base and avoid handling the beading and petals. You can manipulate some of the vines to wear them in different ways but try not to bend them too much as it could cause damage. With wires, it is recommended to keep them away from lotions and hairspray.

Jewellery is often very delicate so please be careful with links and connections. 
We strongly advise that you remove jewellery when washing your hands, showering or swimming because water and chemicals (especially chlorine) can affect the longevity of the gold plating, encourage silver to tarnish. 

Always apply make-up, hair spray, scent and moisturiser before putting your jewellery on as the chemicals in these can affect the beauty and shine of your jewellery. Do not use a polishing agent or abrasive compounds as using these will wear away the layers of gold.

Please take care to store your jewellery separately so that it does not get entangled, damaged or scratched by other pieces. 

All of our millinery and bridal products are individually handcrafted and whilst every effort is made to replicate the original design, very slight variations may occur. The Lichen Collection is all cut free hand to ensure uniqueness, meaning the individual pieces will vary in shape and size. Measurements given are approximate but shall be as accurate as we can reasonably make them. Claire Hill Designs cannot accept responsibility for any variations in the appearance of the colour of our products due to the computer equipment or software used by our customers.

Returning an item

We want you to be satisfied every time you shop with us so we make our returns policy simple. We can accept returns on items, except earrings, that are ready to buy in our shop.

If for any reason the product does not meet your expectations, we are happy to offer an exchange or refund where possible, within 14 days of receipt and item is returned within 30 days from when you receive them. Please email us at before you send the item back.

Refunds will be issued providing all items are unworn and in original packaging. The buyer is responsible for return P&P.  We suggest items are returned signed for as we will not be held responsible for missing returns.

Once returns have been received and checked by us we will issue a refund within 5-7 days via the original payment method.

We regret that we are unable to offer refunds on products that have been made to order or customised. Earrings are not able to be returned due to hygiene reasons. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Bespoke items are unfortunately not eligible for return or exchange.
