Having studied Shorthand when training to be a print journalist, Claire knew she wanted to incorporate it into her designs to create personal pieces of hidden message jewellery. This stud is the exciting expansion of the trademarked range.

Featuring a cubic zirconia and finished in 14K Gold Vermeil plating, this earring has been designed and made to last. You’re not going anywhere, and neither is it.

ABOUT 14K GOLD VERMEIL

Our gold vermeil jewellery is made with 14k solid gold (2.5 microns in every piece) layered on top of recycled 925 sterling silver. The finish is five times thicker than average gold plating, making your jewellery more durable and long-lasting.

Each piece is handcrafted by artisans in Thailand and India in factories that share our values of sustainability, worker’s rights and fair working conditions. The factories are regularly audited, and two are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.

We want you to feel confident wearing your jewellery daily, year after year, which is why we only use high quality precious metals and offer a 2-year warranty that covers every piece free of charge.

After that, we are offer a lifetime repairs service for a small fee, meaning your jewellery is ready to wear on repeat for years to come. 

Replating

Our vermeil plating is 2.5 microns, which means it is 5 times thicker than normal gold-plated jewellery. Making it waterproof and less likely to tarnish, but if you notice your jewellery losing colour over time we can replate for you for free.

Repairing 

Where possible we will repair your jewellery and send it back to you like new. Our warranty covers manufacturing faults but not human error like chain snapping, but we are still happy to try to fix or replace broken pieces for a small fee.

If the jewellery is not fixable and you’re still within your warranty, we can offer another piece of the same value or a voucher.
